Trading is also seems gambling where you can lose this two are needs to take the risk to earn money but trading it usually needs skilled people to earn on it and not depending on luck not like gambling , gambling needs luck and it don't need people who had skills 
You are right but trading is safer and also less more risks, gambling is just asking to lose money no influence on it at all.
