We do not have to think to gamble for longer because for playing longer we will need to put more in gambling and with that we will go to risk more of our money. The safe way is to gamble only for a smaller time and for smaller amount of money.
I agree with your point. If a person will play only for entertainment then he will need to play only for some time and not for the whole day and if he will play for the whole day then he will definitely require a high amount of money and that is not a good way to manage our money.
