The time I have spent cannot actually be calculated but I have spent alot and that one of the reason I switched to Sport gambling especially football with that, I get to only place my bets then come back in the next 90 minutes to if I win or not and some other times I can just check for live scores to know if I should take heart from the end of first half or still keep the hope alive.
The way I see it, you are just a typical gambler. I do bet in sports as well, and what makes bother me in the work is because I constantly check the score and that makes me lose my focus on my job, you love football but I love basketball and what makes us similar is we are gambler who game time really in sports.
