I think that banks can be trusted but that you just sometimes have to look out the most banks are okay and there are not doing anything wrong so..
I also do not think that they are doing something wrong and I still need something to store my money into for my salary so I stay trusting them blindly at the moment.
An average person is left without an option. They will have to depend upon banks to make any transaction or to store their money safely. Bitcoin is an option but it is not supported by everyone in the world at the moment. I dream of a future where bitcoin will rule over all the fiat currency and be used by every single soul in the world! perhaps in 50 years we can hope to see this dream becoming a reality.
