It's so hard to get gun in other developed countries. People even afraid to carry gun in there. But why government of US makes it easy to buy,carry or sell guns? Is it good for the nation or people living there? They mayn't get freedom while walking in dreary places. Isn't it? I even scared of word gun. 
You in vain are afraid of the word gun. You're not afraid of soldiers with guns. You know that their job is to protect you and you trust them. It's the same gun. It is designed for your protection and the protection of others.
