I think almost all countries in Europe and America have legalized gambling, not just limited to the city. We can see that the gambling sites became the official sponsor of the sports club such as soccer, basketball, boxing and so on. In addition, the gambling sites are also free to advertise in a variety of official media, it is certainly beneficial for the country, because it could get taxes from gambling.

There are still many cities in the European countries where gambling is illegal and some are planning to get it banned. It is limited to cities too while online gambling websites like poker were considered illegal sometime back. The laws for online gambling differs a lot from offline casinos and here in my country India, online gambling is also considered illegal and punishable but some websites have got a license like Rummy. Don't know what exactly is the law.

Gambling must be a legal activity under state control.
However, because it is a clear structure, it can be used to raise illegal money.
Illegal income can be shown as gambling gain.
For this reason,
They do not want casinos to be part of the country's economy.
