If we condition our mind to play for entertainment and we accepted that the money is for entertainment, I think we won't be affected negatively if we lose it playing gambling games.
How does one condition their minds to believe all the money they have is for entertainment purposes ? I thought we need to suffice basic necessities in life like food,clothing and shelter.
indeed. if you can only think of the things that you could've done with the money you lost before you actually lose it, more people would spend less time gambling. let's face it, gambling is less fun without monetary wagers. especially with dice. i can't see anyone playing with dice if it's played without money. for me dice is pretty much a waste. you have more chances of losing well earned money here than winning and what's worse is that once you lost, there's this itch to try and get back those losses so more likely than not you'll try to roll again. that would be money lost that could've been spent on more important things
