In. 2017 I foresee ethereum finally dead and Zcash taking over as the next big thing after bitcoins. Monero, litecoins and doge will also do their best.
Zcash can improve it's position in the market cap with other altcoins. Ether can fall but it is far from dying.
It seems like it is here to stay for some more time and if the team can fix the issues, it will not be surprising to see another price increase.
I agree with on Zcash, it has potential to move up the ladder on the coinmarketcap.com, and I think the bottom could be around $20 at least and the more coins get mined the higher its marketcap
