It looks to my like the banking sector may be taking over bitcoin.
There seems to be a parallel with gold.
(you could deposit your gold, get a receipt, get gold out any time, etc)
(the exchanges let you deposit bitcoin, trade, get bitcoin out any time, etc)

Heard there is a ETF investing in bitcoin. Where there is an ETF, there may be derivatives (options, leverage).
