Even though we see the rapid price increase of bitcoin still there is no assurance that for having 10 bitcoin that can make you rich.
But I get what you are saying that gold cannot give us what bitcoin can. And with that example you have given it is a true way of saying that bitcoin is a way for us to become rich.
So it is really a go for bitcoin even though gold is already in the market for centuries.
