I don't understand, if ethereum transactions are confirmed, and this time eth has no hard fork, how can you retrieve the hacked fund? How did you freeze the fund? I am very curious

Well the hacked funds are on an address on Bittrex, Bittrex can prevent this address from outputing transactions I guess, like if your bank froze your bank account ... For the recovering part, either the hacker is found and they return the funds or either Bittrex has the ability to transfer Xaurs from that address once the authorities permit it. (Just my hypothesis.)

Well, it is a great example of XAUR and Bittrex are professional teams, although the hacker hacked huge amount of money, the team did the best to prevent damage.


They said it was already fixed but bittrex wallet still is under maintenance.  This is actually a good time to buy Xaur as price is cheap, if bittrex is open it will help its economy.
