If you are looking to enter the mining arena, I'd say play with it and get the mining working. Be warned of low hash rates due to it being nvidia.

But once you have a feel for the gui-miner/cgminer apps etc. Go bigger with a larger gpu.

At this point, the power draw may not be worth the output, but at least you can get a feel for what you will need to do if you want to pick up mining in earnest.
