as of now, the is almost $980 if I am not mistaken and it appears to be very possible that bitcoin will hit $1000 anytime or any day . but I don't know if it's getting more higher but you are right if it goes around $1000-$1200 there will be a correction for sure and maybe the price will go back to $900+ and will be barely stable .

i would honestly expect a struggle after rising 5% a day for some consequetive days
a lot of the banks are closed until 4th of january so people have no way to
get more money onto exchanges to take us to the next tier up
also bear in mind people dont get paid 7 days a week either so some are simply exhausted their
funds and i think we need to relax until about the 7-8th january to pull any higher than this unless
some money comes in unexpectedly from abroad
This state the reason why bitcoin still sits below $1000. It seems the bulls available for action in the trading platform is not enough to break the wall of $1000. There is always another time
Let us wait and see on the next paying day or when bank open to operate.It is good that it did not continue like that and the price is still below $1000. I expect it to be $1000 in first quarter.
I agree, i think it is a good thing that Bitcoin did not reach $1000 before the end of the year. Excitement of people on reaching $1000 will be carried over this year (its January 1 here already)and actually a good way to start a year. 2017 starts with Bullish Bitcoin
