Do you think people will get out of their way to buy Bitcoin just to spend it on Alibaba? They can use fiat or their credit cards for that and there is no need for Bitcoin. Why are people still fixated with the idea that Bitcoin will become a mainstream currency?
yes they will. when they look at how small is the fees and also how fast and safe are the transactions they will choose it. when using bitcoin they won't have to give out their personal information and stay anonymous as far as the seller is concerned.
and also it is best for the merchants too because they will never have to worry about cash backs that has been happening all this time when people use other methods.
this won't happen over night but eventually little by little people will realize this.
