Deckbound is very different. Not only differ their game mechanics a lot from ours, but also are their cards algorithmically generated. We instead carefully craft the abilities of each individual card for achieving a truly unique gaming experience and well complementing card decks.
Additionally, on a technical level, they are using bitbind for creating their assets, while we are using Counterparty which in my eyes has many benefits, such as already having an established and user friendly infrastructure to easily trade your cards on the open market.
We are following agile development principles within the development of our game - while we currently fund development through the direct sale of cards, we additionally aim at raising ~$500k in funds from angel investors / venture capitalists and for that are participating in an invite-only program for graduates of the Founder Institute geared towards securing an initial fundraising round. Ultimately, we also aim at holding an ICO that will enable us to raise even more funds to achieve our goal.
Thank you for taking the time to respond with the above and look forward to regular updates inline with the development principles you mention. I'm already onboard with both cards
