It can be profitable on a long term but but most likely this will not happen because its just luck you need.
Luck is something you always need at gambling but mostly is not guaranteed of course.

i think he means gambling are possibly profitable but there is low chance and low number of people can do it . as a result most gambler would just ended up losing in the end not having profit , get nothing but debt. that was the most case happened . those people who have successfully make gambling profitable are the one who make gambling as a career and take it seriously.
