A way to bypass VAT is to buy as a company. You'll have to declare your revenues, but since you should in theory already been doing it, that shouldn't pose any problem !

You still have to pay VAT as a company importing from a non UK or EU company. You can just claim it back at the end of the quarter against your VAT sales. But remember running a company has other overheads and taxes that you would need to take into account.
