hello guys. again me

i need a little help. Would it be a problem to use two different chipset graphics cards? Such as rx 480 and r9 290x?
nah - shouldn't be. I run a nVidia GTX along side a RX480, hah.
It's a bit of a pain to set up compared to keeping it "all in the family", but yes you can mix and match.
Also, seems to play more reliably if you don't mix generations, and don't mix venders.
With that said, I do have several rigs that run an AMD APU (R7 generation graphics) with NVidia cards, and one "monster" that runs an A10-7860k with a NVidia GTX 950 and a pair of RX 470s.
I DO wish someone (HELLO GIGABYTE?) would come out with an "ITX Shorty" RX 470 or RX 480 like Gigabyte has for the GTX 1070.
Next best option would be AMD dropping the price on their WX-series cards to something SANE instead of the crazy-high current pricing compared to non-WX equivalents.
