We know many have been using it now so it says it all. But still that is not enough to say that it is the future. Many just come and go and bitcoin have been proving good when it comes to being money itself.

Because Bitcoin, being a pioneer in crypto technology has some unique feature which is not available in fiat system and hence the popularity is increasing day by day. I have no doubt that in next ten years we would have a growth rate of 100% or more regarding worldwide users and people would prefer bitcoin over PayPal or Visa.
I think Bitcoin will reach that level of success, but it may take longer than people think. With regard to the growth rate, I think that this year we may already see a significant increase, given that high profile investors are entering the scene.

Yes I also think that it will take longer than expected cause realistically speaking, It is quite a dream to think that a whole decade will be full of imroving stuffs or positive ones . Of course negative stuffs or what we called problems will show up that will hinders its growing period or will make it longer . We should be ready for this cause bitcoin is dependent to its users .

That is right. The price of bitcoin is too volatile. It cannot be a good currency.

Volatile based on trading with fiat. If there were no fiat, bitcoin wouldn't be volatile. Maybe one day  Grin

But since we are living in a society (which is dominated by fiat) we have to compare it with fiat when it comes to use of bitcoin (or any crypto currency) in terms of medium of exchange. You can’t simply ignore fiat because not everyone use bitcoin in their day to day life and we have to use fiat until significant number of merchants start accepting crypto currency. Change is a two way traffic road, we are changing and now waiting for others to change.
