I think Bitcoin will become more popular in 2017.
Bitcoin will become more and more popular as time pass by because people are always promoting bitcoins. By simply using it and talking to your friend about it, you're personally promoting bitcoins. Regardless of the year, bitcoin will become more popular.People has become more interested in Bitcoin,when the price of Bitcoin surpassed $1000.
Regardless of the price as well, people will be interested about bitcoins. Most people came to study bitcoins because they need to earn some extra bucks and not because the price is high/low.I think Bitcoin will become more popular in 2017.People has become more interested in Now the Bitcoin's price has dropped below $1000,but I hope his value will be stabilized around $1200 in the following months and by the end of the 2017 will rise to $2000.

Anyway I think the popularity of Bitcoin will rise more among people this year due to the Bitcoin's value.
I guess somehow some sites are hyping up bitcoins since the price is kind of crazy right now. Since they often post about bitcoins because of that, that might somehow help with the growth of our population. But then again, our population will increase regardless.
