Bitcoin is going to be more popular in 2017 and the number of people is going to be increased to 5 millions as minimum. The necessary laws will be accepted in governments to control bitcoin and it will be appear much more new places that will accept bitcoin as payment. I think this year is going to be the best year in all bitcoin history and I expect the price will reach 2000$ during the year.
Yes and with the population getting more and more digital soon we might see a sudden rise in price of bitcoins.
I have personally educated some 5-6 friends about bitcoins among which 2 are using it just for gambling while others are yet learning and checking how it works.
The population that are actively involved in bitcoin is still very small, if more and more people uses bitcoin (as more and more services will support bitcoin), the bitcoin price will be appreciating. So I think it will be higher in 2017.
