why would an institutional investor invest in this unfinished beta product with flawed distribution model? (current block-reward 1/2133 of the original year after only 2 years). Institutional investors generally arrive later in the game when the coin has gotten some adoption, they avoid currencies with low marketcap or volume(look at iconomi).

I think you do not quite undertstand that. For the companies the possibility to acquire a finished product, without
having to put costs, time and people into the development, is a huge advantage for any company that operates globally.
In this project the focus is on the high security and the speed of transactions, today with the most important arguments.
Then you have an experienced talented team of developers who can adapt the product accordingly to the customer.
And that's all at reasonable price, what more do you want?
