I don't think it is always advisable to invest in ICOs there are some project out there presently that you can find value if you invest in them like Singularity, Golem, Vdice, Firstblood all are presently below the ICO price except Golem that pumped this week.

Concering ICOs I will go for 1Ex like the team behind the project, Qtum is another solid project to look at

On what exchange do you find Golem?

Golem is on Liqui.io, though the volume is not high, but it is decent enough to get what you need if you are a patient trader your order will be filled

Golem is probably the dark horse of 2017 in my opinion.

It currently has very small exchange adoption which is likely to increase as Brass Golem approaches in May. It also has had favourable mentions in publications such as Wired and has a demonstrably competent (and visible) development team.

That's why it can be a good place to invest our money. Although he wasn't having a lot of publication and like you said, he will be the black horse soon.

Iconomi will be competing with golem. he has a lot of the potentially.

you aware that Iconomi team invested on Golem project?
i'm pretty sure about this because they somehow mentioned this back then so i guess GNT success will also be the success of ICN.
I've invested to Golem because i learned it from ICN to which i've also invested.

My perception is that ICO funds are solely for the ICO, not to be used in funding of other ICO's.
And yes the amount of ICO and scams are growing rapidly, perhaps too.. rapidly.

As far as i know ICN are into investing and managing the funds that is why the investors of ICN entrusted the team to make decision what they can do. They've investee to Eth and GNT as well. They manage to get almost 10% of byteball as well.
In conclusion, all of the things have done by the team are quite successfully. The price of the golem was increasing yesterday and ICN team had over 9% stock of GNT. Which mean the team has held the big part of the golem shares.
