The fans I bought are industrial grade noctua fans, 4 pin, is there any way to disable it's request for fan RPM? The fan is cooling it just fine as long as I leave the factory one plugged in and sitting there.

Alternatively I was thinking I might power the Noctua off of the PSU and set then fan speed for the board down to 0% if it'll allow that low, so far this is the only thing I can think of to get around this issue.

It's a rather stupid issue at that, especially when it has a fail safe to shut off is over 80 degrees, I don't see why fan RPM needs to be taken into consideration for these.
