Do I need a static IP to run a masternode?
depends on exact meaning of "run".
if launch once out-of-the-box and run on full auto until Satoshi's Second Advent - you need static.
if you can do some necessary steps manually or by script each time ip changed - no need
Thank you. Glad to hear that.
I will give it a try in a few days.
I bought an excess of 25000 to take an active part in this.
I followed the steps given in
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Forum/Thread/568?postId=3681 .
But end up with the 'Error: could not allocate vin for collateralAddress'.
The description say I need to make sure I send the 25000 to the Collateral Address.
Should I try to send it again?
According to the blockexplorer, the address holds exactly 25000 Neutron.
The wallet I use is recent. I got it from github a couple of hours ago.
OK. I am up and running, sort of.
I have started the node, but the status-field is empty.
And the Nucleus Network-tab, shows only one node. My own.
I have however 39 active connections to the Neutron network.
How is this supposed to look like?
The wallet is staking, but I expected to see other masternodes in the Nucleus network-tab.
