Hi. I'm quite new to Bitcoin and crypto-currencies in general, but after weighing the risks and potential benefits, I've decided to go ahead and start LTC mining.

I also ordered some risers and a bench style case.

So, I just have a few questions that hopefully someone can answer..
I found the consolidated LTC mining guide, are there any critical pieces of information I need that aren't in there?
I chose the 7970's mostly because the other good LTC mining cards were very hard to find, but is it possible that their mining performance will increase with better software/drivers?
Anything else that might be helpful?
