Then why you need to do that ? No sense at all. 
OP is talking about not holding when bitcoin was near ATH. When bitcoin prices were seeming to fall down, you will lose if you prefer to keep on holding.

But I am not agreeing with OP, and I am just holding my bitcoins for another bounce back.

If you buy high, you can hold for higher prices to get profits.
