They are both really good games, but I would recommend playing clash royale. It is much better because you don't have to spend days upon days waiting for buildings to get upgraded. And you don't have to wait for hours for your army to get ready. The battles are really fast paced and you will definitely enjoy the game. BTW, this is coming from a guy that played clash of clans for over 3 years. I definitely believe that clash royale is a better game.
