In some countries bitcoin cannot be use to buy Real stuffs like food clothes and other goods and services but even though bitcoin can be used in plenty of ways mostly in the cyberworld it is used in online markets like Game Credits, Gadgets some use it in the dark webs to purchase weeds,drugs. Others are trading it to a different crypto-currency or exchanging to dollars, so how to you use it ? 
We don't really spend bitcoin in the Philippines but we exchange it to our local fiat. And used it to buy some stuff, we hope that some store here will offer bitcoin as a payment method so that it will be easy for us to buy stuff using bitcoin.
It will not be easy for any country to adopt bitcoin so easily and even merchants should know that there is a payment system something like bitcoin and for that to happen I think we should tell them that they can also accept payments via bitcoin and that will draw their attention to know more about bitcoin but I think it will take long time for that to happen.
