We hope to have release candidate installers for unix and window within 4 hours, but dont hold me to that. I am just estimating based on internal Slack comms

osx version should be soonish after that. we still dont have everything fully automated in Jenkins, but that will be happening soon to minimize the delay from when we could have a release ready to when we actually have the freshly built binaries

Now even this first release, is just the first release. There are still many aspects that are without GUI, or just partially has GUI support. The top priority is providing people a way to access their KMD, across the major platforms.

After this is achieved, we will be bringing the other functions into the GUI. So, expect a stream of GUI updates for a while. I know many like things to just have a single stable version and barring bugs, the initial version can be held static, but you wont be able to have a GUI for the full spectrum of the komodo ecosystem.

We will do our best to make upgrading as seamless as possible, so updating to the latest will be a matter to download and click a few buttons.

The good part is that even without running any GUI, you are earning the 5% APR interest.

If you have a project idea for the komodo ecosystem, I encourage you to post details in the SuperNET slack. If the idea has merit, odds are very good that you will quickly find people who will fund it.

The komodo ecosystem has the SuperNET organization behind it, but it is a fully decentralized organization. That means anybody can join at any time and become a key contributor. And we are very open to new people and new ideas and new projects.

Dont be shy. Most of the key contributors you see, initially were outside the SuperNET and just by doing what they like doing, they are now key contributors. Even if you dont have a specific project, there are many preexisting projects within SuperNET that you can contribute toward. Key contributors are certainly rewarded, usually with stakes in the projects they are working on, but there are many things that are able to pay in KMD and maybe even BTC.
