If you want buy couple of coffee fee is about 0.15$ if BTC price rise like 10x that will be 1.5$ for sending cash this is HIGH cost.
The fee will be stopping mass adaptation if BTC will keep it curse to not rise block size and miners will want keep high fees it will collapse becouse people will find better e-money.
BTC as software has to evolve do you imagine use windows 3.11 now ?

I like BTC but i also think that it need to evolve and HIGH fees is something that will push back mass adoption of BTC and will move it to just speculative market. Who will ever use currency when it require >1$ to send it when you have alternatives and allways will be.
