Apart from having a similar system and purpose to lisk there is nothing cloned. MS Windows and Linux serve the same purpose and do a lot, hundreds of the same tasks, Would you say they are clones?

I assure you there will be nothing cloned. Ascendancy is developed from the ground up, with a different mechanism of work when it comes to developing DApps. We are using similar technology in node.js, but that is simply because it fits the best purpose for our product. We want to make DApp development as simple as possible and having a natural javascript interpreter is so much more efficient. Ascendancy was first planned development in C++ with LUA, but for our customers ease of development we have used node.js and javascript.
