He temporarily suspended the immigration from seven countries for a period of 90 days until more effective vetting could be put in to practice. And this suspension is applicable for all the people in those countries. It is not just for the Muslims.
The truth is that rather than the problem being with the "Ban that Trump created" the problem was with the completely free borders concepts that Obama was implementing.
That is false. There were increases in deportations and a very long vetting process already in place under what Obama implemented. Trump just wants to make sure he is happy with it and maybe tweak it.
