If you think that shipping is a burden then just moderate the transactions that you are having out of your area. Just get the people closest to you or else you are going to add up and let the buyers shoulder the cost of shipping, just make it look that shipping is free but actually you are adding it to the original price of the goods that their buying.
I have been thinking of that idea before, yes it's can attract people because the shipping cost is free, but the problem is the cost itself is various for every country. Actually I can do an adjustments for put the price to "win-win" for a buyer and seller.

Buying a physical item overseas is not a good idea if you ask me because of the time frame given from originating point to terminating point. Sometimes 1 month of waiting for an item is not worth it.
Relatively the shipping estimate here is not more than 2 weeks, except if you live in the corner of corner country which the access to there is difficult.
