Hi guys , i bought some nxt. Downloaded the nxt client and wallet. How can i put some ardor in the nxt wallet? I also got a popup of a public key? Where can i put it if i sent some nxt and why? Now i've got 1mil nxt that should be enough for forging right? And will i get the IGNIS in my nxt wallet?
First of all congratulations.
Don't worry about the public key, the popup will go away when you make your first outgoing transaction. Buying Ardor on the asset exchange is one outgoing transaction you can make.
How to buy Ardor:
To get Ardor in your nxt client go to Asset Exchange link and click on 'add an asset',

Verify that name of asset is ARDR and issuer of asset is: NXT-FQ28-G9SQ-BG8M-6V6QH
From there you will see the trading desk of Ardor and can place buy and sell orders. When you buy Ardor that way, it will automatically be placed in your account.
Ignis will be distributed in a few months, distribution based on your balance of NXT, don't spend all NXT on Ardor, leave some for Ignis
1 million is great for forging, when you forge you secure the network and your investment.
