This is hopefully the thread to end all of my RX series questions post and responding in other threads

How efficient are you guys able to run these cards on what coins, and is this a wall or software sensor measurement? And of course what variation of the 470 and 480 do you have and with which memory if you know it?

6 MSI RX 480 Gaming X 8GB rig https://www.amazon.com/MSI-GAMING-RX-480-8G/dp/B01K1JTT8S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486433923&sr=8-1&keywords=rx+480+msi
~1100w/ETH, ~930w/XMR at wall - undervolted for ETH/XMR and overclocked for ETH
Specifically testing XMR, GPU-Z shows that these MSI cards pull ~120w per card while mining XMR. ETH was the full 150w of the GPU
These can be overclocked slightly for ETH, but not XMR.

6 XFX RX 480 8GB RS rig http://www.bestbuy.com/site/xfx-hard-swap-edition-amd-radeon-rx-480-rs-8-gb-gddr5-pci-express-3-0-graphics-card-with-white-led-backlight/5550001.p?skuId=5550001
~1000w/ETH, ~850/XMR at wall - only undervolted for both XMR/ETH
Specifically tested with XMR, GPU-Z shows these XFX cards pull ~80w per card while mining XMR. ETH was full 150w of the GPU.
I have not successfully overclocked this at all. I can't change anything because it will freeze.

Really nice on the details, very much appreciated. What's the hash rate difference on the two different sets when mining XMR?

I'm going to assume 29-31 MH/s on ETH
