I genuinely want to know about the issues the ex-dev pointed out and what this project is going to do about them. That's all. What's so controversial about that?

Your question was already answered. IPFS already solved the webtorrent problems.
If it was answered I wouldn't keep asking for an answer.
If the problem was solved, there would not now be two projects.
@drays did a good job at getting some very valid points across. But I'm still not sure everything is kosher.
