Let's get things clear once and for all.

1. The developers are new to the cryptocurrency world and not coding in general. You can quote all the previous posts on this forum but it won't change the truth.

2. Our advisors are experienced in blockchain development and are guiding us in this project. The whitepaper has been written with their help but due to their wish to stay anonymous, their names have been excluded.

3. Respectonomy is in no way like Ascendancy. To avoid any notions of scamming investors through the ICO, all funds are under the control of Dabs and SebastianJu who are the escrow for Respectonomy ICO.

Respectonomy team has no way of accessing these funds until Dabs and/or Sebastian release them.

4. If the minimum target of 100 BTC is not achieved, Dabs and Sebastian will refund all the funds collected. The funds collected from the ICO will NOT BE released unless the pre decided milestones are achieved. As and when the milestones are achieved, the funds will be released in parts. The full amount can only be obtained once the entire project is completed.

5. A total of 5 million tokens will be pre-mined. 4 million in the ICO and 1 million, previously reserved as developer's fund, for bounties, campaigns and bonuses.

Technology behind Respectonomy:

Respectonomy will be a decentralized social network that runs in the browser.
Content creators will earn RES from their followers who download and read their content. Others can rehost the content and get paid for it.
To avoid spam, trolling and advertisements each activity on the network will require some RES.
Respectonomy will be a pool that users can connect to mine. Everytime a user connects to the network, they will mine for RES and can earn RES just by running the platform.

RES is based on Bitcoin and will have a traditional proof of work blockchain to determine fair distribution of the tokens. Mining of tokens can be done via the browser by running the platform or through a mining software.
