What do you mean be patient? It has been over 5 days now. Bitcoin price has dropped $100 overnight and I am down over $3500 just from that because they keep dicking me around. YOU give me $40,000 of your money and sit in limbo waiting while the value goes down and we will see if you are patient.
In the future when this happens you should just place a hedge position on some margin trading BTC website. I had this issue in the past where I sold something with escrow and sometimes it took like 2 weeks to finally get my BTC. This was during 2015 when BTC was dropping almost everyweek. And it got really annoying because I would sell something for $100 but then 2 weeks later when escrow was released it was only worth $90 or so.
So in the future you should try hedging your bet when this happens to secure your BTC balance.
