So do i need linux or windows to use my 480's?

As far as I know, nobody's been able to run polaris cards with hmq1725, windows nor linux, my miner nor wolf0's.
That's weird 'cause the sources are very different from each other.
I don't have an rx card, never had one, so I can't debug and fix it.
