I read through the news clarification regarding McAfee.
However it still doesn't answer the question:
1) How did you guys end up stating he will be taking the CSO position and reporting directly to the board?
Whether his position was to be full-time, paid or not, how does one just hand out the title of CSO without any actual contractual agreements, NDAs, etc and most importantly without the CLEAR understanding of what role he would be playing. Consulting and taking a position at a company are two very different things.
This is highly suspicious, and raises a huge red flag. - please clarify how this confusion came about.
2) What are you plans for a security audit of your code and with whom potentially?
I ask these questions because my investment and I'm sure many others depends on these answers.

Our code will be open source and everyone will be able to audit it. Our GitHub is set to private for the moment and will be made public once the network launches.
We will also have security advisors vet our code and we will make announcements in due course. Right now the priority of our developers is to get things ready for the network launch.
