To be clear, I just use my same wallet words to import the keys and essentially the funds with breadwallet?

Yesw, according to BioChanger you just use your same twelve wallet words to import the keys. He says bread wallet does not support more than 12 words.
Another user called TraderCal11 also says bread wallet successfully imported his multibit wallet words.
Took a long time to sync, but that has mostly to do with my 4/1 internet connection that is through a cellular hub (no landline service here). Importing my exact wallet words from MultiBit HD 0.4.1 (Mac OSX version) to BreadWallet seems to have worked.
My 3 transactions are now showing in BreadWallet (dates match the MultiBit HD Wallet), and it looks like BreadWallet worked great, but I will need to test.
Q- I still have MultiBit running, and I am curious what will happen when I send some funds using BreadWallet? Would my MultiBit wallet be/become usable by transferring a small amount of coins?
Q- Do wallet words essentially allow the "syncing" of funds over several wallets using what is essentially a private key (being my wallet words)? Is this a form of redundancy?
In closing, I would like to test all this by buying HI-TEC99 a pint of beer for your help... could you PM me a receiving address at your convenience?
