Re: Sell or wait?

Waiting for a higher price is good idea for some holders ,but if you feel that bitcoin price is in danger or it starts to go down ,then basically you must sell it before it will go down deep.

No, that is panic selling and that is the fastest way to lose money, sell when you get a profit and if you are in the red, then wait until you are not, the price of bitcoin always recovers relatively fast.

Never do stupid decision when selling, your lack of trust will lead you to losses. You but bitcoin because you believe overtime the value will rise then you should believe on that, we have already seen it many times that every time there's a crisis, whales just consider this as an opportunity to buy cheap bitcoins. If they are successful doing it, we should be doing it also, in the end, if we hold longer, we can rip the fruits of our labor.

Correct, I think what happens is the people invest without knowing or truly believing in bitcoin so when they see bitcoin losing value they panic and then they sell, but for us the true believers of bitcoin that is something that does not happen to us.

We actually see it as an opportunity but to them it's failure, we have different views on the price movement as some people does not educate themselves first before they get in to invest. When you are investing, your decision matters, and in order for you to make a right decision, you need know the basics and continue to educate yourself. There's plenty of FUD here and if you believe that, you will lose your chances to profit.

Agreed, but unfortunately all this FUD and making mistakes are part of the learning process. Bitcoin is still unstable at this point, and newcomers have to be wary of all the FUD and FOMO they'll experience, but nothing really prepares them for that.

No one's a better teacher than experience. But then again, newbies can't really tell the difference between an experienced trustworthy bitcoin mentor and some internet troll.

This is why, it is better to take things slowly, since the markets are always going to be there, and there are always be opportunities to profit from them, FUD can sometimes be deafening especially if you are used to watch the mainstream media.
