Discounts would be good for beginnings , but im not sure for this irreversoble part . Im not sure how you think that irreversible transactions is good for everyday for bitcoins ? What if you go to store and you acidently pay guy 0.01 insted of 0.001 ?
So I think that bitcoin can only work in the field of directed assembly. For daily use bitcoin is clearly still too early to say. As for the discount, the bitcoin and so provides many benefits.
Yes for daily use the bitcoin is good for people, and it could be used all around the world. but you are right when you say its still early for everyday use of bitcoin. We can only hope that someday the bitcoin will be accepted as good currency to pay your bills.
And I think that would be better bitcoin remain in the shadow of the financial system, because if cryptocurrency will fight for their legalization, the bitcoin might lose its advantages, for example anonymity or lack of control.
