The Evidence of [a] Free Me - Self Validation


The person moving towards freedom is one who learns to validate himself. He does not do this at the expense of his neighbors, but in the midst of them, and tragically, sometimes, in spite of them. As this world is flush with systems of ideas and ideals, especially those that form the basis of religious, economic and even political theory and policy, thus the more the need for the moving-towards-freedom individual to validate himself. The freedom-conscious I aggregates any and all resources at my disposal to make a stand against any and all suppressive and oppressive ideologies being expressed in beliefs, doctrines, philosophies, persuasions, convictions, morals, teachings, creeds, faiths, tenets, theories, ideas, canons or any isms that strips away my self validation. This means in many instances taking a stand against some aspects of even myself. No one is a Tabula Rasa. Every body comes from somewhere. The freedom fighter however, finds courage in unimagined nooks and crannies, and from his uncelebrated mundane humdrumming, notwithstanding the facade of the grand theater of the worldly stage, rise up to shine forth the evidence of his (validated) Self, against the tyranny and despotism of imaginary and real ideologies - both within and without. The self validated individual reaches (if only eventually) the place of harmony, both within and without.
