(does it work if i point other miners to 192.168.2.* (the * is my pc running bytecoin and mining)

that should work, just make sure you are setting that ip to the allowed ones in bytecoin.conf and on windows need to open the firewall.
Its working
the first block didnt came from the host (which is mining with ~1400mhash)So its working (i have rcpallow 192.168.2.*)
BTW, i think i stay at mining bytecoins to help the network adjust
