The biggest problem of Zcash is, that it was so overvaluated right from the beginning, so now everyone expecs price levels like that.
But we should all remember, how long did it take to bitcoin to reach 1k usd and Zcash project is so far behind btc (market cap, adoption, popularity, etc.), that from today's point of view, it seems impossible to reach 1k this year and honestly, I would be very surprised if it would reach even 100 usd.
