The thing that tipped my belief over into Coinbase adding Monero soonTM was actually Kraken's adding it last January.
The Bitfinex addition also came about with little or no pre-announcement. Along with the escalated development progress, and the 2016 price jump, this snowball is just getting started. Oh, and I guess the Is it True meme has died, or most of the old guard has left the forum
