I was wondering what is best when buying altcoin, to buy the altcoin with btc or with money? Does it actually make any difference?
How do you go about it?
I'm asking this because right now as the price of bitcoin is so high, you can buy more quantity of any altcoin with small amount of bitcoin, will it be the right way to go here?

Even Bitcoin price is high theirs no effect on some altcoin price.
Using cash in buying altcoin is very hassle.
Mostly exchanges accepted bitcoin payment to buy and sell altcoins, which higher price of bitcoin will be great as an advantage to buy more cheaper altcoins compare to bitcoin (price). You can start to buy or sell on some famous exchanges such as Poloniex or bittrex, depends on your country, it better to choose an exchange located in your region.
