Abvhiael, when we were talking about trying to get listed again I purchased a paid weebly account setup for hosting at
www.cryptosoil.com. It is already prepaid for a year. There are no ads since it's paid and it has a blog page built in. I could provide credentials to our developers and we could use that for a year, then consider switching over to a new domain name when renewal runs next February. You can build out however you want if that would work.
that would be excellent. id been in process of updating the website before i started getting really sick, so the jobs already halfway done. im not sure what sort of package weebly uses but ill look into it, and make sure everything is formatted correctly and can send you a formatted website to set up on the server, or if you PM the credentials to go in and muck about ill get it rebuilt by end of the week, barring any edits.
As for Nova exchange, I read you get one free vote a day then you can buy votes by purchasing NPOINTS. They are cheaper than purchasing .4 btc line skip feature. We should rally as much support as possible then close out missing votes with NPOINTS.
as soon as the voting is open we can tweet out the voting link and get whoever we know to put votes in for us as well. if it takes a couplefew days to get the 250 votes, its not a big thing.
once we've got a working website with uptodate links on it, getting onto some other exchanges may be easy, although i think spreading out the trade between any more than three exchanges presently would be counterproductive. an option would be to get listed on bitsquare, which is a decentralized exchange, running peer to peer exchanges between altcoins. it has fiat capability but from what ive read about that aspect, while altcoin trading is considered safe, fiat trading is still the wild west.
Also, I don't know if technically feasible, but can we split block rewards like DASH and have a percentage that goes into a community fund and a percentage that goes to coinholders of a certain minimum threshold who are running nodes to keep the network stable? This would also act as a protection against project abandonment if mining farm attacks continue because all the rewards wouldn't be tied to mining and our nodes would still have an incentive to keep network running. it's likely the nodes and community miners will be the same group in the beginning anyway, so this may actually protect community miners against having their block rewards shut down completely by mining farm attacks.
ill do a readup on block reward protocol adjustments under ethereum and see what we can come up with. its a bit of an esoteric area, but id started looking into that idea as a form of setting up a scheduled minting to a community develompment wallet, protected by multisig, as part of the process to set the benchmarks necessary to prevent the 51% attacks that crippled KR (and SHF if i recall correctly - i have to give them kudos for reimagining the project when faced with the problem, and have recently announced their IPFS (interplanetary file storage) implementation as, i believe, a LISK commodity.)
there are a ton of ways we can look at pool mining from outside the box, and from a strengthening community perspective. one option would be to tokenize shares in the pool fees, allowing mining output plus a possibly fungible currency on top, the community coin, which can be written with proof of stake mechanism. this sort of possible prelaunch investment may allow for the purchase of cloud mining power for the pool itself, or to go towards core development operators purchasing and running a small ETH-miner rig hardware that pays directly into the community fund.
ive had over half a year to think of implementtions and ideas for projects that should be fairly simple , and spent a lot of time reading about renewable energy technology and getting a real handle on the internet of things concept. ill always have a thousand ideas running through my head, we could use a post-it board onthe blockchain in order for me to pay a SOIL and have my ideas jotted down for posterity because i know i forget more than three quarters of the ideas that come up for how to implent dApps on SOIL.
